Is it a journalist’s job to make a given Presidency work? Is it a journalist’s job to “help the country”? I had thought the job was to relate the facts and inform people so they can make up their own minds, but apparently Chris Matthews disagrees.

In a Nov. 13 story, The Associated Press incorrectly reported that Paris Hilton was praised by conservationists for highlighting the problem of binge-drinking elephants in northeastern India.
