Let’s say, hypothetically, that McCain had fundraising and personal friendship links to a guy who had once been the leader of a group that bombed abortion clinics. No one was killed in those bombings, because warnings were called in, and due to procedural misconduct, the guy never did any time even though he admits the bombings, and today says he regrets only that they “didn’t do enough to stop the murder of the unborn”.

Would this be a big issue in the election? Would the mainstream media be covering the story?
