McCain wins the Republican nomination, pissing off a lot of Republicans who hate his guts. Hillary wins the Democratic nomination, because Obama can’t out-dirty-trick a Clinton, much less two of them. It’s seen as dirty by fans of Obama.
McCain wins, due to some Democratic Obama fans being pissed at Hillary and the general […]

January 25th, 2008 · 5 Comments
I thought it would be interesting to ask my readers to take the World’s Smallest Political Quiz and post their results. Even you lurkers, come on, now.. It takes less than a minute, there are only about 10 questions. It’ll be interesting to see where you people stand on the spectrum.
My result won’t […]

Luskin Endorses Paul
January 22nd, 2008 · 2 Comments
Economics commentator Donald Luskin endorses Ron Paul. He lists many of the reasons I support Dr. Paul myself, and puts the conspiracy and weirdness baggage in its proper perspective.
For all his apparent extremism, there’s no other candidate who has managed to excite both Democrat and Republican voters by combining an anti-war message that irritates […]

Michigan Primary
January 16th, 2008 · No Comments
Well the Michigan primary was yesterday, and the results are in.
Ron Paul came in fourth with 6% of the vote, which is actually pretty great. Michigan is not exactly a libertarian stronghold, the state is big unions and big automakers that are always both looking for a government handout. Romney won the state […]
Major Music Labels Doomed?
January 12th, 2008 · 2 Comments
The Economist has a great article on the major music labels and their outlook for the future in the face of digital downloads and the overturning of the dominant industry paradigm. Great opener.
In 2006 EMI, the world’s fourth-biggest recorded-music company, invited some teenagers into its headquarters in London to talk to its top managers […]
Ron Paul at Google
January 11th, 2008 · 1 Comment
A Q & A session at Google with Ron Paul. Very worth watching the whole thing. If you want an introduction to what libertarianism and Ron Paul are all about, watch this. It’s 65 minutes of pure Paul, he spreads the message much better in a longer format than in a 30 […]

Republican Debate Tonight
January 10th, 2008 · 3 Comments
I’m going over to NY Ron Paul headquarters to watch the debate tonight. Should be interesting to say the least.. I’m wondering what kind of people they’ll have there, here in the midst of New York.
I’ll write some kind of report tomorrow on how it was.. By the way, you should all […]

The Audacity of Being Hopelessly Unqualified for the Job
January 7th, 2008 · 23 Comments
The Democrats are well on their way to blowing another easy Presidential election. Obama is a nice guy and everything, but honestly, what has he ever done? His entire resume consists of some time as a local Illinois legislator, and two measly years in the Senate.
He’s never even won a single […]

Happy But Pessimistic
January 3rd, 2008 · 1 Comment
84% of Americans say they are satisfied with how things are going for them personally, yet 70% of those responding believe the nation is headed in the wrong direction.
I feel that way exactly, but I also think that 70% is probably split evenly on which wrong direction the country is going in.
