There are a few things that people can do that immediately make me question their intelligence. Well, maybe not necessarily their intelligence, but definitely their wisdom. Dungeons and Dragons taught me they are different scales, hehe.. After the fold, a few of them in no particular order.

1. Smoking. I have no desire to make smoking illegal, and I don’t think the government shoud be instituting any kind of smoking ban. That said, if you don’t know by now that it’s bad for you, and expensive to boot, you’re just stupid. Smoke if you want, but yes, I will think less of you.
2. Playing the Lottery. I take playing the lottery as evidence that you don’t understand math and probability. Not so much the scratch off tickets, I understand those and they can be fun, but playing the Powerball or Pick 6 trying to win a huge jackpot is utterly retarded. And economically, do we really want to assign all those resources to anyone dumb enough to buy a ticket? This is why most jackpot lottery winners end up squandering the money.
3. Supporting an increase in the minimum wage, in order to help poor people. This policy will do the exact opposite of what it’s boosters say they want, because they don’t understand it’s true effects. Quickly for the ignorant, if I employ someone at $6 an hour which makes me a $1 per hour profit, and then the minimum wage gets raised to $8, that person doesn’t get $8 an hour, that person gets FIRED.
4. Misusing “your” and “you’re”. Goddamn that pisses me off.. I don’t understand how you can have a college freakin diploma and not know the difference between those words.

I’m sure I’ll think of more, but that’s enough for now. Maybe this will become a series, hehe.
